How can I get a golf residency card?
Golf Residency Cards are available at the Finance Counter in City Hall. In order to qualify for a card, you must meet the following criteria:
- Must show proof of residency with California Driver’s License and a current utility bill, preferably a telephone bill or a bank statement.
- Senior Citizens who live outside of the City of Montebello are also eligible to receive the golf discount card.
- The price of the card is $19 in January and is pro-rated every month thereafter. The card expires December 31st and must be renewed.

How can I obtain a building permit?
Applications for Building Permits are available at the Building Counter in City Hall (323) 887-1497 from Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Applications for Business Licenses are available at the Finance Counter in City Hall (323) 887-1449 from Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The cost of a Business License varies and is based on gross receipts.

Where can I purchase a dog license?
Dog licenses can be purchased at the Finance Department Counter in the west wing of City Hall from Monday thru Friday 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Costs are as follows:
- Dog not neutered - $25.00
- Dog neutered - $12.50
- Senior Citizen, dog not neutered - $15.00
- Senior Citizen, dog neutered - $ 7.50
